Originally the town’s Market Hall, 1 Market Square was designed in 1829 by Thomas Brine, who was responsible for many of Castletown’s finest buildings.
Opened in May 2026, this historic building has been transformed into a welcoming new gateway to the Isle of Man’s rich heritage. Begin your journey here by purchasing admission tickets for all Manx National Heritage sites, along with convenient Island travel passes.
