In the event of an order being lost by a third party, Manx National Heritage bears no risk once it has left its trading premises.

Where goods have been received damaged, a refund/exchange application will only be acknowledged if the goods are returned together with their original packaging within 7 days of receipt to: Manx Museum Shop, Manx National Heritage, Manx Museum, Kingswood Grove, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM3 1LY.

Where the goods are signed for the customer bears the risk once the goods are signed for. If a customer believes that a parcel has been tampered with, it is their responsibility to refuse to sign for the goods.

Manx National Heritage has the right to fluctuate delivery/postage prices in proportion with their costs for shipping.

For items of higher value, special delivery will be used which includes compensation options up to £2,500.

If the delivery date has exceeded and you have still not received your full order please contact us at We will then investigate the matter; this could take up to 5 working days. Please note that we can only entertain enquires for lost items within 30 days of despatch.

If you have returned an item to us and you have not yet received a refund within 30 working days of postage, please contact us at and we will investigate the matter further. This could take up to 5 working days. Please note that it may take your bank up to 21 days to refund your account. We are not liable and cannot take responsibility for any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay of failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.
