Little Screen Friday – The Wild Robot: 18th April, 2pm

Visit the Manx Museum on Good Friday on an epic adventure following a shipwrecked robot who builds relationships with it’s new surroundings.

The film follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.

The Wild Robot is a powerful story about self-discovery, a thrilling examination of the bridge between technology and nature, and a moving exploration of what it means to be alive and connected to all living things.

Runtime: 1 hour and 37 minutes. Ticket price: £5 per person, plus optional donation (children and adults, no concessions), all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
