Join Tim Earl on behalf of the Manx Ornithological Society as he guides you on a walk to the Silverburn River and up to the Heron colony, returning back along river to the ‘Heron’ in Castletown Harbour. Meet at Castletown Promenade/Shore Road junction (what3words: /// eateries.hiker.fork); wear sensible shoes as it may be muddy in places. The walk is not suitable for wheelchairs but the terrain is flat and 1.5 miles approx. No dogs. Free, but please book.
