Join Manx BirdLife staff at the Point of Ayre National reserve for a tour of the reserve prior to opening this summer. We will take a gentle stroll through the reserve, showing you the work we have carried out to take the site from old industrial quarry to amazing nature reserve.

The walk will last approximately 2 hours and there will be plenty of stops along the way to admire the fantastic nature which calls the site home. We regret that due to the shingle terrain, the walk is unsuitable for wheelchairs. The nearest public toilets are in Bride. No dogs are allowed on the walk due to the risk of disturbance to nesting birds. Location: Manx BirdLife Point of Ayre National Reserve Car Park OS Grid Ref: NX 46143 04410, What3words: autos.meerkats.excite.

Full directions will be sent along with booking confirmation. What to bring: Water bottle, snack, sturdy walking shoes, warm layers, waterproofs and/or sun hat and cream for protection, depending on the weather. No food or drink will be provided. Some will be available to borrow. Bring your own if you have them. Advanced booking is essential and limited places are available.

To book, please email enquiries@manxbirdlife.im, stating name of principal booker, mobile phone number in case of cancellation or emergency and number in family party. We will send full event details on confirmation of booking.
