Little People’s Picnic – A Manx Language Adventure
Join us at Rushen Abbey for an afternoon of family fun, crafts, music, colouring, and a special family film screening.
As we’re moving the event indoors, you can still enjoy plenty of creative activities and chances to hear and enjoy the Manx language, whatever the weather.
Get creative with Felicity Wood, with family-friendly crafts inspired by the Isle of Man. There will also be Mini Musicians pop-up sessions with Mannin Music, with songs, movement, and music for little ones to enjoy.
You can also try some Manx language colouring sheets, giving children a fun and simple way to learn a few Manx words while they colour. There will also be a Manx language colour trail around the site, where children can explore, spot the different colours and learn the Manx words for each one.
At 1pm, settle in for a special screening of Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie. Bring along blankets and cushions so you can get comfy while watching the film. Snacks will be available to purchase during the screening.
