Join our Library and Archives Conservator for a fascinating guided tour of the Conservation Studio. You’ll see specialist tools, techniques and materials in action, and learn how fragile documents, books and records are stabilised and protected. From centuries-old manuscripts to everyday papers that tell extraordinary stories, she will explain the challenges of preserving the Island’s written heritage and the decisions conservators make to balance access with care. This is a rare opportunity to explore the hidden world of conservation and gain an insider’s view of how history is safeguarded one page at a time.
