The Makers Social Club: Festive Rag Rug Wreath Workshop

Join MNH Crafters for a cosy festive evening of traditional craft, Christmas treats and a little time to get creative.

Taking inspiration from traditional rag-rug making, you’ll learn how to create your own festive rag-rug wreath using strips of fabric and simple techniques. Rag rugs were traditionally made by reusing scraps and worn-out textiles, turning everyday materials into something practical and decorative.

Settle in at 1 Market Square and enjoy festive snacks and non-alcoholic Christmas drinks while you learn the technique and create your own colourful wreath to take home and display at Christmas.

All materials are provided, so just bring yourself and get ready for a relaxed evening of craft, creativity and Christmas cheer.

• Suitable for adults and older teens.
• No previous crafting or rag-rug experience is required.
• All materials are provided.
• Your ticket includes festive snacks and non-alcoholic festive drinks.
• The workshop takes place at 1 Market Square.
• Please arrive a few minutes early so you can get settled before the workshop begins.
• You’ll make one festive rag-rug wreath to take home.
