Jinny the Witch and the Magic Tunnel: Another Ant and Bee Story
Featuring Ant, Bee and Wasp (Ant and Bee’s friend) at the Great Laxey Mine Railway, this delightful children’s book is written in Manx with English translation by local author, Edith Quaggin.
Set on the eve of Hop-tu-Naa, Jinny the Witch and her cat, Tabitha, have a problem with their broomstick and land on the roof of Ant and Bee’s engine shed in the middle of the night. Wasp, the battery-power electric engine, is woken up too and the three engines try to help Jinny to continue on her travels.
Suitable for children aged 5 – 8, this book brings the tales of the railway to life and is colourfully illustrated throughout.
