LEGO® on the Loose – Marina found them all!

– Posted on Wednesday 23rd May 2018

Erik the Red and Sheriff Rango were amongst the tribe of troublesome LEGO® Minifigures who broke out of Manx National Heritage’s recent exhibition, Playful Pasts, at the House of Manannan.

Sherlock had up to 3000 LEGO®  enthusiasts helping him to search for the missing Minifigures at the Manx Museum, Douglas and the House of Manannan, Peel throughout the duration of the competition, which ran from February Half Term up until the end of the Easter holidays.

Marina Joughin, from Douglas, was successful in spotting all the correct locations and was selected at random from the 2000 entry slips we received to win the top prize of all 32 of the collectible Minifigures – including Sherlock.

The overwhelming response to the competition meant that we also chose two runner-up prize winners, Toby Losh and Grace Birchall, who were both selected at random to win the hardback book – LEGO Absolutely Everything You Need to Know! A handy guide for all Lego enthusiasts.

Suzanne Walker, Site Manager for Manx National Heritage’s Peel locations, adds;
“We were thrilled to see so many people, aged from 0-99 years, joining in the hunt for the missing Minifigures! It was great to see so many LEGO® enthusiasts enjoying the trail and our Playful Pasts exhibition.  The donations from the trails will go to support the continued work of Manx National Heritage in looking after the Island’s natural and historic heritage”
