On Sunday 26 June, The Grove Museum in Ramsey will be the venue for one of three costumed tours and country garden teas to take place during summer 2016.
The tours offer the opportunity to step back into the Edwardian times with a guided theatrical experience of the Gibb family summer retreat in Ramsey. The 45 minute tours will be guided by members of the Labyrinth History in Action Players and are followed by a delicious afternoon tea in the Conservatory overlooking the country garden.
The afternoon tea includes a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, cakes and unlimited tea or coffee or an ice cold glass of lemonade.
Daniel Spencer, Site Supervisor for the Grove Museum said:
“The event offers a splendid afternoon tea and entertainment from our History in Action Players. The team here at The Grove are looking forward to hosting these special summertime events and to welcoming visitors to enjoy the unique experience”.
Tours take place at 12.30pm, 2pm or 3.30pm on 26 June, 3 July and 7 August.
Tickets cost £22.50 per person and pre-booking is essential. To book, please visit The Grove Museum or call 812686. Please specify any dietary requirements on booking and arrive promptly for your booking time.
