Manx National Heritage is delighted to present An Exclusive Evening with Knox on Thursday 26 February 2026 at the Manx Museum in Douglas. This special after-hours event celebrates the acclaimed exhibition KNOX: Order & Beauty and offers guests a rare opportunity to experience the work and legacy of Archibald Knox in a unique and intimate setting.
Taking place from 6.30pm to 9pm, the evening will begin with a welcome drink before guests enjoy a curator-led lecture exploring Knox’s life, artistic vision and enduring influence. The talk will provide fresh insight into his distinctive design style and the deep connection between his work and the Isle of Man’s cultural heritage.
Guests will then have the opportunity to explore the exhibition in a relaxed, private evening viewing. KNOX: Order & Beauty brings together rare and significant works from public and private collections, offering a remarkable overview of Knox’s contribution to design, metalwork and illustration.
The evening will also feature live Manx music from the Ny Fennee Harpists, including a special performance inspired by Knox’s work, creating a fitting atmosphere to celebrate one of the Island’s most admired creative figures.
From 8pm – 9pm, attendees will be given exclusive early access to purchase selected pieces from private collections featured in the exhibition. These works will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire outstanding pieces connected to this landmark show.
