Early People have left traces of their lives on the Isle of Man from the Mesolithic (Middle Stone Age) through the Neolithic (New Stone Age) Bronze Age and Iron Age.
The Early People on Man loan box contains reproduction objects based on material evidence, most of which has been uncovered on the Isle of Man. The objects have been chosen to promote discussion and enquiry about museum collections and cultures.
The objects can be used either individually or thematically to support your teaching of the Island’s early history The enclosed objects have been made by skilled craftspeople using the Manx Museum’s archaeological collection.
