Participants will learn about the restoration work we are undertaking and have the opportunity to spread heather brash and install coir netting, as part of this work. It is expected that the session will last approximately two hours and it is advisable to bring a drink and a snack.
Parking will be at Black Hut, on the Mountain Road (please share lifts as parking is limited). The site is a short walk from the carpark, over uneven ground. Wellies or walking boots will be needed as the ground is fairly wet and muddy. Participants will need to bring work gloves for handling heather brash. This activity is not suitable for dogs. The maximum number for this event is 8 people so please make sure to reserve your place.
