Report in the Manks Advertiser, 17th September 1833

“CHOLERA

At the weekly general meeting of the board of health, held at the Court-house on Saturday last, the report of new cases was as follows:

Monday the 9th,… 1
Tuesday,… 7
Wednesday,… 7
Thursday,… 6
Friday,… 4
Saturday,… 6

By this report the hopes which had been raised by the favourable appearance of Monday were considerably depressed…”
