The Makers Social Club: Christmas Patchwork Evening
Join MNH Crafters for a cosy festive evening of traditional Manx craft, Christmas treats and a little time to get creative.
Taking inspiration from the Manx National Heritage collections, you’ll learn how to make your own traditional Manx Log Cabin patchwork square. This style of patchwork has been made on the Isle of Man since the early 19th century and was traditionally used to create blankets, bedspreads and cushions, bringing warmth and colour into Manx homes.
Settle in at 1 Market Square and enjoy festive snacks and non-alcoholic Christmas drinks while you learn the techniques and create your own patchwork square to take home.
All materials are provided, so just bring yourself and get ready for a relaxed evening of Manx craft and Christmas creativity.
