The Grove Lunchtime Listen, part of ‘Unlocking Our Sound Heritage’
Janet Gibb (1878-1974) grew-up and lived at The Grove nearly all her life. In 1973, aged 95, she was interviewed by the Manx Museum about her life, her family and of course The Grove. Join Jude Dicken (part of the ‘Unlocking Our Sound Heritage’ team at Manx National Heritage) for a ‘lunchtime listen’ as Janet speaks to us again from the dining room of her home, The Grove. You’ll hear more about the picnic jammy buns enjoyed with cousins (including greedy cousin Meg) in 1900, and then partake in one yourself.
Meeting Place: Grove Museum shop, parking available on site.
