This exciting event focuses on the importance of peatlands. We will lead you across the beautiful upland estate, offering you the opportunity to learn about the significance of peatlands and the role they play in our ecosystem. Our knowledgeable guides will provide interesting insights and answer any questions you may have. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with nature and discover the power of peatlands! We will touch on various elements of our work such as peat restoration, natural flood management and habitat work. Wear weather appropriate clothing, stout footwear and any water, snacks, sun cream that you think you might need. This will be a long walk of approximately 5 miles over varied terrain, which is steep and wet/boggy in sections.

Join us on Saturday 27th April, start time of 09:30. Park and meet at the Bungalow carpark (by the road bridge, what3words: ///lands.avocados.growl).

This event is £20 pp which includes lunch at Victory Café, and covers 1 x meal and 1 x drink. When you book we ask that you choose your meal from a choice of 4 yummy dishes. Any other food/drink purchases made will be at the expense of the individual.

No dogs are permitted on this walk as it is during bird/ livestock breeding season. Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
