This hour and a half guided tour gives you an overview of the history of this extraordinary feat of Victorian engineering, plus an insight in to how the Wheel is currently managed today and the repair work required to get Lady Isabella turning again. The guided tour will also take you up to the mines to learn about the local miners who worked there.
Event notes: the tour takes place outside and will still go ahead in light rain – please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Walking is required but at an easy pace with opportunity to stop.
