Manx National Heritage and Manx Carriage Driving 4 Disabled have teamed up to offer a new carriage riding experience at The Grove.
Join us with Teddy, a very handsome and friendly Irish pony, for a leisurely horse drawn tour around the Grove House and Estate taking in the picturesque buildings, gardens and scenery.
The carriage riding experience lasts for half an hour and bookings are from 11am to 2.30pm on Saturday 2nd September, with a wet weather contingency of Sunday 3rd September. Spaces are limited to up to 3 people per drive and you can reserve your space and access the site for free if you book in advance, spaces are limited so please do not delay.
The fascinating Grove House has been beautifully preserved to provide an intriguing insight into life in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. A visit to the house, outbuildings and country garden is like stepping back in time. Maximise your experience by taking a leisurely carriage ride behind gentle pony Teddy through the grounds.
Manx National Heritage will be raising funds by serving cream scones and tea from the conservatory of the Grove House to compliment the occasion. We look forward to seeing you there.
In the event of wet weather the contingency date is Sunday 3rd September, please confirm your availability before booking. All tickets will carry over and an announcement will be made by Thursday 31st August using the information from the booking.
Please make a donation, we suggest £20, to Manx Carriage Driving 4 Disabled (Isle of Man registered charity No. 1318) for your horse carriage riding experience on the day.
